On October 9 and 10, 2026, the Texas Women Society hosted the 2026 McKinney Asian Art and Food Festival at McKinney City Hall. The two-day festival brought Asian street food, an Artist Alley, and cultural performances to downtown McKinney, with sponsorship from It's My McKinney, the McKinney Arts Commission, and H-E-B. You can learn more at mckinneymoonfest.org.

The Dallas Guzheng Association returned for a second year to share the sound of the guzheng with festival-goers. The program included Heroic Spirit, performed by a guzheng trio; Strength and Elegance, performed by a group of young girls; and Havana × Fuxi, a rhythmic, fast-paced arrangement. Watch the performances in the videos.

Thank you to the Texas Women Society and the City of McKinney for inviting us back and for celebrating Asian arts and culture with the North Texas community.
